How does this work?
Simply purchase your package from our website to receive your email with the game's name and password within 12 hours (email will be sent within 4 hours for purchases made 6am-11pm CST). Download the Goosechase app (it's free!), create an account, and locate your game's name. Once you enter the password, your hunt begins! Each hunt will have up to 20 teams competing against each other and has a list of missions for you to complete. Some missions may have you submitting a crazy video while other missions may just require a picture. You use the app to submit your completed pictures/videos to earn points. The team with the most points win bragging rights!
Do I have to start at a certain time?
Our self-guided scavenger hunts are designed with your convenience in mind! You get to determine when your group enjoys their scavenger hunt. Once you receive your email, your scavenger hunt is available for at least 60 days.
How long should each hunt take?
This depends on you and your group and which hunt you purchase. Our downtown hunts take approx. 2.5 hours but our smaller hunts and parties take approx. 1.5 hours, if walking at a comfortable pace. However, that time frame can vary depending on how fast or slow your group wants to go. While the hunt does not have a time limit, you can always set a time limit for your group. This allows you to plan on a meetup place afterwards. We suggest finding a new place to meet up for a bite to eat or drinks!
How strenuous is your urban scavenger hunt?
Each downtown hunt is approx. 3-4 miles of walking while our smaller hunts average from 2-3 miles. However, each hunt can be less or it can be more depending on far/hard you want to go!
Can multiple people use the smartphone app?
Each group can have multiple people logging in on different devices with one GooseChase account (same user name, same password). This allows one person to log in to submit the pictures/videos and allows another person to access the same list to act as a scout. If two people from one team creates different accounts and logs into the game with both accounts, both games will be deleted and no refund will be issued.
Are there any age limits?
You must be 18+ to purchase a game. It is recommended that all minors be supervised during the scavenger hunts. All participants are required to follow all city and state laws. If any challenge is deemed as unsafe by your standards, simply modify the challenge with a description of your modification. Any entries that are deemed offensive will disqualify the team, no refunds will be issued. Let's Go! assumes no responsibilities for accidents or mishaps that may happen during the scavenger hunt.
Are there any limits to the size of the teams?
Each package has an ideal number of team members and is thoughtfully designed with that number in mind. Some packages have an unlimited number of team members but we have found that single hunts are ideal for teams with no more than 8 members.
Are there any other purchases required?
There is nothing else besides the package that you will need to purchase to enjoy your hunt. However, you will discover plenty of cafes, coffeehouses, restaurants, and ice cream shops in case you decide you want to treat yourself along the way!
